Latesa

.

LaTesa, affectionately known as Tesa, is a 28 year old mother of one and wife. By day she works as a social worker in a post-acute rehabilitation center. She has her bachelor’s of science in community health and master’s in social work. Tesa has a passion for working with families and offering support in many capacities of the healthcare field. When she is not working or pole dancing, she is a full time “momager” (mom/manager) for her 4 year daughter who has  modeled with Nike, Kohls, and Leapfrog to name a few.

Tesa was first introduced to pole in 2013 while living in college-town Champaign, IL. At that time she was only able to take a few classes because shortly after she found out that she was expecting her first child. Eager to get back into pole, Tesa began training with ETED in the spring of 2015. She utilized pole dancing as a way to regain self-confidence and to rebuild her self-esteem after becoming a mom. Many of us can relate to dealing with our bodies changing and hormonal roller coasters associated with pregnancy and life postpartum.

For Tesa, pole has not only been a way to stay in shape, but it has also allowed her to create special bonds with beautiful ladies that she calls her pole-sisters. She loves being a pole instructor and now having the same impact on her students that her instructors had during her own pole journey is beyond rewarding
